Having trouble with your phone, tablet, computer or other tech? I come to you, work at your pace, and keep things simple and clear along the way.
No jargon. No rushing. No making you feel silly for asking.
Prefer not to call? Email me or send a message and I'll get back to you within a day.
If your tech has been confusing or frustrating you, it's worth a call. From setting up a new phone to sorting out a confusing email - if it involves your everyday technology, I can help.
Got a new device? I'll help you get it set up, move your contacts and photos over, and make it feel familiar.
FaceTime, Zoom, Google Meet — I'll walk you through it step by step so you can see your family face to face.
A computer that's gotten slow or confusing, email that isn't behaving, settings that changed somehow — we'll work through it together.
Having trouble getting into an account, worried about a suspicious message, or not sure if something is a scam — I can help.
Finding and using apps. Making the text bigger. Adjusting the sound or brightness. Whatever makes things easier.
A printer that won't print, a new streaming box, or a TV that's stopped showing what it used to — I'll get it talking to your Wi-Fi and show you how to use it.
No idea what to call it? Describe it however it comes out. If it's a phone, tablet, computer, or something that talks to them, we'll sort it out.
I don't repair hardware, recover data from a failed drive, install or wire networks, sell you equipment, or tack on additional services. If you need help beyond what I provide, I'll make the best recommendation I can, with no commission on my end.
Four simple steps — no complicated process.
Billed by the hour, and I'll tell you the rate again before we start. If that's a stretch right now, say so when you call — I have some flexibility, and I don't turn anyone away over cost.
Call, text, email, or fill out the form on this page — whichever is easiest for you. Tell me a little about what's giving you trouble. No obligation, just a friendly conversation. If I'm not available I'll get back to you within a day.
We'll find a day and time that works for you. I'll come to your home or wherever you're comfortable meeting.
I sit with you at your pace. No rushing. No jargon. Just clear, calm help.
The goal isn't just to fix it — it's to help you understand it, so you feel better about your technology going forward.
My name is Robert Lovari. I've always been the person family and friends called when their phone wasn't working, they couldn't access an account, their computer was acting up or some device was on the fritz. Over time that turned into volunteering with a tech support program through Meals on Wheels here in Portland, Oregon, and eventually giving talks to local seniors when word got around that I could explain things in plain English. I wanted to bring that same approach to more people, and this felt like a natural next step. I have a degree in cybersecurity and hold a CompTIA A+ certification — the formal training behind the practical help.
My approach is simple: slow down, listen, and make sure you actually feel better about your technology when I leave. That might mean going over the same thing twice, writing down the steps so you have them later, or just sitting with a question until it fully makes sense. I won't rush through a fix and leave you wondering what just happened. The goal is for you to feel more capable when I walk out the door, not more confused.
Not sure if I can help? Reach out anyway — I'm happy to answer questions with no obligation.
